The New Billionaire Marriage Brokers Book is Now Available

Dear Reader,
Some stories are personal and come straight from the heart–this is one of those stories. After burying four grandparents in less than 14 months, I became well acquainted with death, dying, and grief. I understand why there are terms like “we lost them” and “they passed away.” Phrases such as these give feeling where the word “died” doesn’t portray the sense of loss, emptiness, and heartache we experience when a loved one’s spirit leaves this mortal realm.
And yet, in all of that, there is love. We ache because we love. We grieve because we love. We cry and shake and cling to one another–because of love. Even at the center of our hardest times, there is love.
That’s why I was finally able to write this story. After the haze of sadness over the losses, all that was left was love. I poured it into the pages of this book and I hope that you can feel that love as you read.
Wishing you all the best,
Lucy

Liam Bernhard has climbed Egyptian pyramids, skydived, searched for sunken treasure, reached high camp on Mount Everest, and paddle boarded in Antarctica. He has one final wish before he dies; he wants to be married. With time running short, he hires Pamela Jones to find him a bride.
Kiera Martin has done the Billionaire Marriage Brokers arrangement once before and it didn’t turn out well. She left her verbally abusive husband and BMB behind to nurse her mom through cancer treatments—expensive cancer treatments. Three years later, with few financial options left, still carrying baggage from her first marriage, and her mom in remission, Kiera gives Pamela one more chance.
What she thinks will be the fast road to debt reduction turns out to be the hardest path she’s ever trod as Liam’s diagnosis looms over their every minute together. He showers her with enough love to last eternity, which is good because eternity may be all they have to look forward to. In order to find her happy ending in a world where sorrows outweigh the joys, Kiera must learn how to live in the moment, cherish every good gift, and love like she was dying.

Hawaiian Masquerade release!

Aloha!
With summer in full swing, my friends in the Destination Billionaire Romance series are busy taking kids to swimming lessons, lacrosse, camping and rodeos, tending chickens, prepping kids for college, attending  family reunions, making popsicles, riding bikes, watching fireworks and reading! Summer is excellent reading time. Just like you, I read in by the side of the pool, in the car, and in tents. 🙂 I hope you enjoy this sweet summer read set on the beaches of Hawaii! Have a wonderful July!

Hawaiian Masquerade
by Rachelle J. Christensen

Excerpt
Lexi closed her eyes. The waves rolled in slowly, rhythmically, with a dependability that would never be doubted. Shawn had been her rock and they’d worked together with a rhythm that had kept their jobs and life in sync. Before Derek, she might’ve entertained a future with Shawn … but the dark-haired man with a camera bag slung over his shoulder had changed everything.

Story Summary
When Lexi Burke escaped the remnants of a cold winter in Chicago for the beaches of Kauai, it wasn’t a random vacation. She left the hectic pace of Burke Enterprises behind with enough money to retire at age thirty-two, intent on settling into the idyllic existence of island life. Until she met local photographer Derek Mitchell—a talented man with a grudge against rich tourists.

From art night to snorkeling lessons, hiking, and chopping coconuts, Lexi can’t talk herself out of spending time with the handsome, hardworking man who knows the value of every dollar. She also can’t find a way to tell him the truth about herself. But then Derek is selected to help in a benefit at a masquerade ball as one of the eligible bachelors up for auction. Lexi must decide whether to wear a mask or unveil her true self and risk losing Derek’s trust and a chance at love.
