Celebrating Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day started over a century ago in 1908. It began with one woman holding a memorial for her mom. What a sweet memory that has blossomed to include woman all over the country. I’ve often said that the most powerful influence in the world is the influence of a mother.

Mother’s Day started over a century ago in 1908. It began with one woman holding a memorial for her mom. What a sweet memory that has blossomed to include woman all over the country. I’ve often said that the most powerful influence in the world is the influence of a mother.

I’ve mentioned before that my son pitches for his high school team. He got all mushy on me and emailed me a link of Bryce Harper (he’s my favorite MLB player) reading a letter to his mom that he wrote for Mother’s Day. Really, from an almost 16 year old boy, a text like that is gold. (You can check out the video here.)

I know you love to read. I do too. When asked what I want for Mother’s Day, the answer is usually books. And I love them all! Biographies, cookbooks, fiction, nonfiction–give me your books and I will give them a home. So, I’ve teamed up with 18 authors to bring you 18 FREE books for Mother’s Day. Some of them are spicy romance reads and some are sweet. You can check them all out by clicking here.

As part of the Mother’s Day celebration, we are giving away a $20 gift card. You can enter the drawing by clicking here. This contest and the FREE books will run through May 22, 2017 and the winner will be chosen at random.

AND, I’m also giving away Prize Pack #2

You can enter for this prize by clicking here.

I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day and get to share it with someone you love be it your children, your mother, a dear friend, or your furry family members.

Happy Reading,
Lucy
